Download or print out all the pages, as each lesson becomes available, and create a notebook. The first lesson will be available to print out on Monday January 31, 2005.

Fabric amounts will differ depending on size. For the small sizes, most materials will be very small amounts. A plain collar can be made in a contrasting color without the trim.

Dupioni Silk, linen or blends, cotton, or any medium weight tightly woven fabric for the outer shell.
Light-weight synthetic taffeta or lining fabric for the lining. Cotton batiste will work for the lining, but something a little slippery will work best for getting it on and off the doll especially over a dress, so taffeta is recommended.
Iron-on craft interfacing for bonnet (very stiff)
Contrasting satin or taffeta for the trim
Size 4/0 snaps
Tiny decorative buttons or beads for the coat front

Please note, these instructions are configured for the Riley and Tiny Betsy sizes.
Most of the hand sewing may be done by machine on the larger sizes if you prefer.
