"Cavalier de Phoenix"
(Cavalier: Poets and dandies, the cavalier was
the court peacock of the Renaissance years.
Embracing fabulous and colorful fabrics and
laces in his clothing, the cavalier gentleman
was also educated and creative. Today we still
use the term �Renaissance Man� (or person)
for one who is interested in science, literature,
history, art, and other creative subjects.)
Description: This pattern consists of five pieces:
a tunic (shirt), chausses (pants/tights), a surcoat
(outer caped vest like garment), a hat, and boots.
21 pattern pieces plus emblems.
This is a medieval costume
consisting of five basic pieces: a long sleeve
front opening tunic (long shirt), chausses (pants with attached feet/tights), a surcoat with cape style sleeves,
a cavalier hat with one side tipped up, and high cuffed boots. 21 pattern pieces.
For those of you purchasing the pattern in PDF format, an extra pattern page will be included with the surcoat emblems on it. Special instructions for printing the emblems that will make the emblem very easy to apply will be included in the instruction sheet.
