"My Little Princess"
This pattern is for a little girls Princess or Cinderella gown. The bodice is fitted and has large puffed sleeves with a self-ruffle that can be trimmed with lace or not as desired. The shaped bodice overlay is sewn into the waist of the dress or can be made as a separate apron style piece by sewing it to the flounce pieces and tying it around the waist with a ribbon or fabric band. The skirt of the dress is made in two layers; the top layer is a little shorter and has a scalloped hem. The under layer (like a petticoat) has a deep ruffled edging. Add straps to the bodice overlay and attach it to the skirt for a sweet little summer dress for LeeAnn! The possibilities are endless!
