"Sunny Disposition"
Very full skirted little girls sun dress with a single row of narrow ruffled lace on the skirt features a double point front and back lined bodice with ribbon ties at the shoulder and a ribbon tie at the waist. Snaps or 'buttons' down the back and has an attached taffeta underskirt.The tiny bolero style jacket is lined and has short kimono sleeves. Includes patterns for short little girl mitt style gloves and roll down lace edged socks.

The bodice is made a tiny bit large around the waist to accommodate the double layer of gathered fabric. If you are making the dress without the underskirt, the back overlap will be more than 1/4".
Recommended fabric for View 1 is sheer dotted swiss organdy with light-weight taffeta for bodice lining and underskirt. Socks and gloves should be made of very thin white T-knit.
Recommended fabric for View 2 is very light-weight cottons such batiste.
A ruffled lace edging can be added to the bodice edges, jacket neck and sleeves, and the underskirt hem if desired.
