Tiny Betsy's nightgown has a generous floor length ruffle gathered to the skirt which is in turn gathered to the high sleeveless bodice. For a summer nightgown, eliminate the ruffle for a simple knee length gown. The floor length A-line completely lined robe has self-lined set in short sleeves and a large round collar. Follow my instructions for setting in the sleeve perfectly with no easing or gathering to the tiny sleeve cap. Special instructions and pattern for making the simple collar are included. The robe snaps down the front to close. Add beads or very tiny buttons to decorate. To make the robe appear to be of quilted fabric, sew regular bias lines of stitching on your fabric before cutting out the robe pieces.
