This pattern looks large on the screen, but it prints out to a nice compact 6" in length and makes about a 4 1/2-5" ham.
Save the image to a file on your computer and print from there.


INSTRUCTIONS: Cut one side of wool and the other side of flannel. Sew the two sides
together leaving the turn opening as shown. Gather tightly the areas shown by hand, with
a large needle and button thread. Trim off the seam allowance and turn right
side out. Stuff with a large bag of cotton balls. Fold the turn opening edges to the
inside and finish by hand with the heavy button thread.
