Colonial Girl Summer
This pattern is for a high waistline summer gown with a square neckline and above the elbow length sleeves. The sleeves and neckline are trimmed with box-pleated fabric, lace, or eyelet trim. The organdy flower trimmed wide ribbon belt is tied in a large bow in the back. A diagram is given for the organdy flower placement. It also includes instructions for steam altering the shape and decorating a purchased straw hat and for making the sturdy fabric dress shoes.
